I LOVE this vintage turn table!

Never seen anything quite like it!

Unfortunately it has sold on December 6th this year.

I just wanted to share:( 

Orange Dots Pyrex mixing bowls

These are very hard to come by at a reasonable price.

I was fortunate enough to find a BLUE dot Pyrex, 

same size as these at an antique shop near Binghamton, NY

before I saw the Steel Drivers concert this summer!

The owner of the antique store was a wonderful lady 

and sold it to me for 50% off.

I paid 10 bucks for this Fab bowl.

This IS my favorite pattern!

Yugoslavia enamel ware tea pot kettle

This find is from the 1930's!

If I didn't already have two vintage tea pots...

she would have been mine for sure.

Natural Beauty.

I am just so proud of all the progress we

have accomplish with our new home this year.

I feel a need to share 

the step-by-step details with you!

So you may have read my summer

and more recent blogs about my new

and improved living room!
Yes, indeed
it's been a SLOW restoration!
But it has finally came down to the last minute  
details!
The yellow paint is finished!
The hardwoods have been sanded and varnished!
DONE.
All the furniture is in place.
The only thing left for me to do to this 
new and improved room
is buy an oriental rug, paint the bottom trim work white,
and buy an 42" LCD Flat screen!
(this still may take a while!)


So enjoy.

Cross THAT off my list.

Floors are complete. 

Living room is complete.

I am now complete!

Judy and Joe came over early Saturday 

morning to get started on

the sanding.

Joe worked so hard!!

He didn't even take a break!!

He work 9 straight hours!

The floors came out beautifully:)

While Dave and Joe did all the hard work

Kaitlyn, Judy, and my self

had some much need girl time.

We chatted, sewed,

and went out to a Rummage Sale.

I found an awesome vintage table cloth,

just perfect for the holiday time!

And some lovely green long candles.

Beautiful.

Round TWO!

What a productive day:)

Yesterday Dave and I kept busy!

We did the Public Market.

We visited Grandma and Aunt Linda,

to pick up cameras to donate to Sunnking.

We went shopping for Christmas lights.

Then I hung more up outside while

Dave cleaned gutters.

After all of this...

it was off to Dad's for a SECOND

Thanksgiving dinner! 

Freaking YUM!

Delicious! 

And there you have it!

Now it's time to start the old diet up again.

FML!

LOL!

After dinner Brianna came over

and we had a few drinks and looked thru

so OLD photos of me 

as a baby.

It was a blast.
