Dave and I have been taking on a lot

of new projects and explorations

this past year.

I love it.

It's exciting to learn and discover new

things and past times with your other half:)

This past Sunday.

Sept 18th 2011.

Apple Picking.
Hurd Orchards.

Best time ever.

 Long walks to the orchard...
2 in a half to be exact!

We passed a few beautiful Victorian homes...

to die for!

Me.

Sporting a hat I purchased at the Public Market,

earlier that day.

Nice cheesy grin!

Dave and I stopped to admire the horses along the way.

And we finally arrived at our destination!

Let the real fun begin!

Now that our bushel is filled...

time for the long journey back!

When we arrived I had to take a  few shots of the lovely, 

wonderful store..

WE MADE IT!

We also purchased some homemade black berry jam,
and some fresh cider!


All in all a successful trip, 
and awesome Sunday afternoon!
Lots of apples and LOTS of exercise!


Tonight I am planning on making apple sauce with 
our freshly picked apples.
I also have a recipe for apple crisp I am dying to try:)


Tomorrow I am off to Miss Judy's 
house early in the AM to learn how to can
fresh tomatoes! 
I am so excited to learn something new!
